Hades Estate

Revised Persephone

ACT 1:

1.) Zeus’s father sits evil-like in throne

2.) Zeus and Hades talking in a dark room

3.) Zeus aggressively persuades Hades

4.) Hades slowly signs contract 

5.) Father fall to floor, his cup spills the rest of his drink.

6.) Hades cries as he rides off into the night 

7.) Persephone is reaching for a flower growing past the gate.

8.) Hades watches the beautiful girl with caution.

9.) Persephone watches gate rise as a rider leaves.

10.) Persephone plucks flower with delicate affection

11.) Hades takes a step closer, burning with passion 

12.) Leaf Crunches 

13.) Persephone hears the leaf and runs back to the castle. 

14.) Letter being delivered to Zeus.

15.) Zeus looks at persephone evil-like

ACT 2: 

1.) Overhead of persephone waking with excitement

2.) Persephone throws open wardrobe, her favorite dress revealed.

3.) goofy trip while stepping in

4.) Demeter skips in, Combs persephone’s hair 

5.) Close up, Demeter’s eyes are watery. (her baby is growing up).

6.) Persephone is turned around, knees on the seat of the chair

7.) Close up, wiping away tear.

8.) Demeter whistles, Puppy storms in tripping over self

9.) Persephone Smiles wide as she holds it

10.) Persephone waves as she rides off racing ahead of her guards, eyes glimmering

11.) They look at each other and shrug

12.) Persephone finds a clearing filled with the same flower she picked by the gate.

13.) She jumped off her horse and falls to the ground, her satchel falls to floor

14.) Puppy crawls out of satchel and prances around 

15.) Guards watch and pull out bottles of alcohol

16.) Persephone’s eyes drift closed.

17.) Persephone’s dog barks, waking persephone 

18.) Clouds roll over sky, covering sun.

19.) Leaves crunch, persephone looks over to guards

20.) Guards are knocked out cold. 

21.) Persephone panics, runs to tree where horses were tied. 

22.) Ropes are cut, horses are gone, Hades grabs Persephone

23.) As persephone screams, puppy tries to pull her back, tearing a piece of dress.

24.) Puppy returns with guards, Demeter finds scrap , screams

25.) Demeter locks castle up, along with towns provisions. 

26.) Skip months ahead- Persephone looks sickly as she gazes out of barred window

27.) Hades walks in smiling, looks at sketches on scraps of papers on desk.

28.) Hades tries to hand her a blank book to sketch in, she simply looks away 

29.) Hades takes Persephone on a walk to cheer her up.

30.) She doesn’t smile, even once, but begins sketching the pomegranates from the trees

31.) Skip another month- A full plate of food, Persephone scratches fork on plate, she looks fragile possibly near death, she's not eating

32.) Cut to villagers raging at castle as Zeus watches like a tyrant 

33.) Hades watches in worry, as he turns to walk away, he steps on a paper with a sketch of a pomegranate. 

34.) A warm pie sitting on a table- a very ugly pie, clearly made by someone unexperienced 

35.) Persephone smells the pie and wanders to the kitchen, she smiles at the pie

36.) She erases her smile when she sees Hades

37.) He cuts a slice and turns away, she smiles again

38.) He bakes a pie once a week she slowly eases up to him, she's healthy

39.) Hades tells Persephone the truth, about everything 

40.) Villagers are trying to break into castle, they’re angry tells messenger of hades.

41.) Hades is a mess, he goes to confession and blames Demeter for his problems 

42.) Priest runs to tell Demeter and tells her where her beloved daughter is.

43.) She Stomps into the throne room and commands Zeus to return her daughter, he refuses

44.) Demeter sends someone to retrieve her anyways

45.) small army to retrieve Persephone, they break down door, 

46.) Persephone runs to the doors to calm everyone down, before they hurt Hades

47.) She kisses Hades on the cheek before going willingly. 

48.) Persephone shrugs off Demeter’s hug when she arrives.

49.) She rushes into the throne room and yells at her father 

50.) He tries to keep her quiet by strangling her

51.) Demeter runs up behind and knocks him over the head with a candle holder

52.) Demeter and Persephone cry in each others arms. 

ACT 3: 

1.) Hades returns to the castle and explains everything to Demeter with Persephone’s support

2.) Zeus is thrown into dungeon

3.) Hades and Persephone are married

4.) Hades refuses to be king and asks Demeter to take over

5.) Persephone Hugs her mother goodbye, her mother cries

6.) Persephone reassures her mother she will return for six months of every year

7.) Demeter Waves to her daughter as Hades and Persephone ride off to happiness.
